World Book Day in 1G

1G loved celebrating World Book Day on Friday!
They dressed up, enjoyed a special assembly, ate a World Book Day themed lunch, shared their favourite stories, had buddy reading time with 6W and had lots of fun talking about their favourite book characters!
The theme for this year's World Book Day is Reading for Pleasure. Please enjoy books together at home on a daily basis - including the books your child brings home every week, stories on Bug Club and why not take a trip to Catford Library and borrow some more!?
