  • Wednesday 2nd September to Friday 23rd October (38 days)
  • Half term: Monday 26th October to Friday 30th October
  • Monday 2nd November to Friday 18th December (35 days)

Spring term

  • Monday 4th January to Friday 12th February (30 days)
  • Half term: Monday 15th February to Friday 19th February
  • Monday 22nd February to Thursday 25th March (24 days)

Summer term

  • Monday 12th April to Friday 28th May (34 days) (the early May bank holiday will be taken on 3rd May)
  • Half term: Monday 31st May to Friday 4th June
  • Monday 7th June to Thursday 22nd July (34 days)

Total: 195

In 2026–27 children should attend school for 190 days (or 380 half sessions). Teachers must be available to work for 195 days during the academic year.
