We had a fantastic Culture Week!

All the children enjoyed sharing with each other about their own culture and learning about our focus country - Algeria!

‍

This week the children have:

- Tried Algerian Food.

- Tried some Art work in the style of an Algerian artist.

- Listened to Algerian music and stories.

- Learned many interesting facts about Algeria.

- Had a special visit from Sofiane's Mum (in 3B) who taught us lots about Algeria and told us about her upbringing there.

- Shared all that we had learned with our buddy class - Nursery, they also shared with us about Pakistan!

- Dressed in traditional clothes and colours

- Enjoyed the big feast!

- Joined in with the whole school parade!

A BIG thank you to all the parents who took time to make/source traditional food for the big feast for the children to share.

1G loved the feast and for many it was the best part of their day and Culture Week as a whole! :)
