Last night at parents evening one of the ducklings gave us a surprise and hatched!

This morning, the children came in to 2 fluffy ducks cuddled up in their brooder box. The children have been waiting patiently all day and finally this afternoon, the ducklings decided to be brave and venture out from underneath the heat pad. The children have loved watching them explore their new surrounding and talk to each other as well as us! They have also been really busy making the ducklings feel welcome in the classroom by drawing pictures and writing cards.

They will be going home with Miss Spicer to be looked after at the weekend. Don't worry, Miss Spicer will fill you in on their weekend on Monday!
