Our First Day at Wick Court Farm!

What a fantastic first day we’ve had on our residential visit to Wick Court Farm!

We arrived this morning full of excitement and were warmly welcomed to the beautiful 15th-century farmhouse that we’ll be calling home for the next week. With its old stone walls and wooden beams, it felt like stepping back in time!

After settling in, we had a tour of the farm. We met the pigs first—some were snuffling happily in the mud while others were basking in the sunshine. Then we visited the sheep, who were very curious and came over to say hello. We also saw chickens clucking around their coop!

Lunchtime was a real treat—hot dogs and freshly picked salad from the garden. 

In the afternoon, we played outside in the warm spring sunshine. The weather has been absolutely lovely—bright, breezy, and perfect for climbing trees and running through the grounds.

We’ve been so impressed with everyone’s behaviour today. All the children have shown great respect, kindness, and enthusiasm—and we’re very proud of them.

What an amazing start to our adventure at Wick Court Farm. We can’t wait to see what this week brings.
