Visit to the Natural History Museum
January 28, 2025
On Friday, 6F visited the Natural History Museum.
In the morning, we looked round the different galleries of the museum, looking for ways that animals and plants adapted over time to survive in their habitats.
After lunch, we attended a great workshop! Matt asked us to use our skills of deduction when looking at different clues. He used a leaf blower to demonstrate how lizards adapted to survive a habitat where hurricanes are common. He left us pondering about animals in our own local area are evolving too - foxes and stag beetles.
We had a great time and learned lots!
