We had a fantastic day at the Deptford Creek Education Centre! We observed the human and physical features in and around Deptford Creek and investigated the creek as a habitat, identifying and naming a variety of living things and putting them into broad groups. We worked scientifically to measure the speed of flow of Deptford Creek by using scientific equipment, taking measurements and repeat readings.

Indoors, we investigated some fascinating artefacts which have been found in the creek!
