Shell Class Celebrate World Book Week
Shell class have had a wonderful week full of stories and tasty treats!
We started the week learning about Shrove Tuesday and used real life problems in our maths learning. We had different amounts of toppings and we had to share them equally between the group. Can you practise this at home? If you had 4 biscuits and 2 people, how many would you get each?
We have enjoyed a range of stories and spoke about how different stories made us feel. The Hairy Toe by Daniel Postgate made lots of children feel scared! However, 'The story of the Little Mole who Knew it was None of his Business' was very funny. Have a watch at home.
We have watched some famous Illustrators such as Axel Sheffler and Rob Biddulph show us how to draw and made some beautiful drawings of our own.
In phonics we have learnt the sounds 'ar' and 'or.'
Have a lovely weekend to all of our Shell Class families. Remember to do a good deed for Ramadan!
