In Year 6, we have learned a lot about the burial practices of the Ancient Egyptians this term!

Yesterday, we enacted the final part of the burial of our fish pharoahs. We washed, anointed and wrapped the bodies in linen. After that, we read pages from the Book of the Dead as we entombed the mummies in the pyramid.

It was a memorable (and smelly) day!
