This week in Shell class we have been learning about the Winter season.

We have been eagerly checking the weather each day to see the temperature. We have learnt that if it is 0 degrees, water will freeze. We had fun exploring the frozen water.

We shared our ideas about animals that like to live in the cold and made penguins.

In Phonics we learnt the sounds j, v,w. We have been clapping the syllables in words- try this at home.

In Maths we have been making symmetrical snowflakes and experimenting with different ways of making 5.

Next week we will be joining the rest of the school in the big playground at lunchtime!
