In English, we have started a new unit on instruction writing.

To kick it all off, we compared two different sets of instructions. One was unclear and was difficult to follow. The other set was much better! It had diagrams, clear steps, was in chronological order and used adverbs to give specific details.

We followed the good set of instructions to make some delicious jam sandwiches.

We will use what we learned today to help us to write really good instructions on how to mummify a body!
