At nursery this week, we were on an exciting mission as we explored the outer reaches of space with our “Aliens are Coming!” theme! The children were thrilled to dive into the mysterious world of aliens, galaxies, and spaceships. Here’s a peek at what we got up to!

We started our journey by reading captivating stories about aliens, sparking the children's imaginations and filling the room with questions like, “What do aliens look like?” and “Do they have homes like ours?” Some of our favorites included Aliens Love Underpants and Here Come the Aliens. These books brought laughter and a little bit of wonder as the children imagined what life might be like beyond the stars!

To make our space theme come alive, we painted our very own galaxies! With brushes, sponges, and splatter techniques, the children created star-filled skies, colorful planets, and swirling nebulas.
