It has been a wonderful week of exploration! We have made friends, took turns playing a rhythm on the djembe drum and sang a lot of songs. We have created a birthday wheel showing months and seasons, made a class agreement and have learned our routines using a visual timetable. The children have been bringing in found leaves and conkers and have explored these in our nature area using magnifying glasses. Please continue bringing in leaves, acorns, chestnuts, pinecones for our collection.

Also the children have really enjoyed making creations out of recycling materials such as boxes and egg cartons. If you have any interesting and clean boxes to donate that would be amazing! Thank you!

Also save the date of Thursday, 3 October from 9-10am. All Reception parents and carers will be invited to a session with our Speech and Language therapist and then have time in our classrooms with the children. More information to follow!
