We made clay tiles in the design of a Victorian house. We explored the different ways we could manipulate the clay, and then practised how to join clay together so that there is a tight bond using scratch and slip. After rolling out the clay and cutting out our designs for the houses, we used tools to add the detail onto the roofs and brickwork.
