This week, we explored circles, cartwheels, and spirals in a creative and hands-on way!

We noticed that a cartwheel has a center point with spokes that connect to the outer rim, just like a bicycle wheel. This led us to investigate how circles are formed. Using string attached to a fixed point, we worked together to create large circles. It was fascinating to see how overlapping circles created new patterns!

During our painting session, we experimented with circles and spirals, layering different colours and shapes to make exciting designs. We observed how spirals can be found in nature and art, inspiring us to add swirling patterns to our work.

It was a wonderful exploration of shape, movement, and creativity!
