This week at nursery, we had a fantastic time celebrating Lunar New Year and welcoming the Year of the Snake! The children joined in with the festivities, enjoying a range of exciting activities that introduced them to different aspects of Chinese culture.

We started our celebration by listening to traditional Chinese music. The children then took part in a joyful parade, marching around with great enthusiasm with the snakes they made.

One of the highlights of our day was exploring some fascinating artifacts, including a beautifully crafted dragon head. The children loved its vibrant colors and intricate details, learning about the importance of the dragon in Chinese celebrations.
