Soon, we will be looking after some duck eggs and watching the ducklings hatch and grow in our classroom! We are very excited!

The duck farmer challenged us to design, make and test a container to keep the duck eggs safe on the journey to our school. We had lots of fun making our containers and dropping them from a two metre height to test how well they protect an egg. Some were successful and some weren't but we all had so much fun.

Tomorrow, we will write to the farmer to let him know which materials work best. Well done, 1L!
