Yesterday, our class had a fantastic visit to the Southbank Centre to attend the Children's Bookshow. We were very excited to hear from author Katherine Rundell.

Katherine told us all about her stories, where she gets her ideas from and gave us some good tips to get started. She shared some funny and interesting stories, and it was fascinating to learn how books are created. Katherine asked us to take part and ask some questions and our Eva was brave enough to stand up in front of everyone and share her own idea.

We were all given our own copy of Impossible Creatures to take home and keep forever! It was a lovely surprise and means we can continue enjoying stories long after the visit.

We had a brilliant time and came away feeling inspired to read more, write our own stories, and use our imaginations.
