Pebble Pals
This week in Pebble Class, we will be thinking about our feelings and what it means to be a kind friend. We will talk about how our actions can help others feel happy, safe and valued, and we will explore ways to show kindness to the people around us.
As part of our learning, we will create our own Pebble Pals. We will think carefully about what our Pebble Pals need to be happy and safe, and we will discuss the qualities of a good friend. Together, we will share our ideas about how we can be kind friends and what we hope to receive from our friends in return, such as kindness, sharing, listening and helping.
In Maths, we will continue developing our subitising and counting skills. Subitising is the ability to recognise how many objects there are in a small group without needing to count them one by one, for example instantly knowing there are three dots on a dice. Our focus number this week will be 3. We will explore different ways to make and show three through practical activities, games and discussions, helping us build a deep understanding of this number.
We are looking forward to another happy week of learning, friendship and fun in Pebble Class!
