During the first week of term, we thought carefully about how we wanted our learning environment to feel. We then discussed how each of us could contribute to creating that kind of environment. Our key words and phrases were safe, respectful, listen, support others, and never give up. Using these ideas, we worked together to create our class agreement statements. Finally, we signed the agreement to show that we all understood and accepted our responsibility in helping to create a positive learning environment.
