Yesterday, 1LS went on an educational visit to London Zoo. We arrived at school very excited and ready for a day of learning! 

First we got on the coach and travelled to the zoo. It took quite a while but everyone sat beautifully and chatted about what they were looking forward to.

At the zoo we squeezed as many enclosures in before lunch, had a lovely picnic and then got back to animal searching. Can you tell someone at home all of the things that you saw? What was your favourite animal? You can see from the quotes below that they had a fantastic day!

Today we drew story maps of all the things we had seen at the zoo and then wrote recounts!

Thank you again to all of the adult helpers (also to the parents that volunteered their time but were not selected this time) It really was a wonderful learning experience and all of the children had a fantastic time.
