What a fantastic start to our third day at Wick Court Farm! After another great night’s sleep, our first job this morning was feeding the chickens. The children worked brilliantly together and showed great responsibility while helping with the morning farm jobs.

Today’s activities have already been very busy. One group enjoyed birdwatching and spotted lots of different birds around the farm. The children practised being patient and quiet while looking carefully through binoculars. Another group prepared dough balls ready for cooking, carefully measuring and mixing the ingredients together. Meanwhile, some children visited the dairy to learn more about how milk is collected and processed on the farm.

We are also very proud to share that the staff at Wick Court Farm have complimented the children on how clean and tidy the dormitories are. The children have done an excellent job looking after their rooms and belongings.

This afternoon, we are very excited because it is time for beekeeping! The children cannot wait to learn more about the bees and see the hives up close. More updates to come later today!
