Today, we had a fantastic World Book Day! We came to school dressed as some of our favourite story book characters. In class, we enjoyed lots of fun activities like an Emoji Story Quiz, a Gruffalo draw-along, word searches and bookmark making.

After our exciting Masked Reader assembly, we opened our Mystery Box that was left in our classroom, Inside, we found a pair of black sunglasses, which inspired us to design front covers for a story with titles such as The Teleporting Sunglasses, The Magic Sunglasses and Super Sunglasses. We then wrote our own stories which we shared with each other.

We also had the chance to read with our reading buddies in 5F, which was lovely! Then we went to a special assembly by author and actor Paterson Joseph!
