Trip to the Horniman Museum and Gardens
As part of our Science learning about plants, we enjoyed an exciting trip to the Horniman Museum and Gardens.
During our visit, the children explored a variety of plants and trees in the beautiful gardens. They took part in a plant hunt, where they searched for different types of plants and carefully observed their features. I was very impressed that most of the children successfully spotted all the plants on their hunt!
After a busy morning of exploring, the children enjoyed a picnic lunch together in the gardens. Following lunch, we visited the farm, where the children had the opportunity to see and learn about different farm animals. To end our wonderful day, the children enjoyed some playtime before heading back to school.
It was a fantastic trip that helped bring our Science learning to life, giving the children a hands-on opportunity to explore the natural world and deepen their understanding of plants.
