Pebble Class have been exploring the story and characters of the Gingerbread Man. We even got to taste and eat our own gingerbread man like the fox in the story! Yum!

We practised our scissor skills by making lolly stick puppets to retell the story of the Gingerbread Man. We drew and wrote our own versions of the story, made gingerbread men with playdough and built bridges to help the Gingerbread Man cross the river. The children predicted what might happen if the Gingerbread Man fell in the water and then we watched to see what would really happen. They were right! He got soggy and then fell apart!

In Phonics this week we have learned 'o', 'c', 'k' and 'ck'.

We have started counting down to Christmas! This is helping the children to know how numbers get smaller when we take one away each day.
