Supertato and the Evil Pea!
On Monday, Pebble Class made a fruit and vegetable shop in our role play area. We wrote shopping lists and counted out coins and vegetables. This was great for our Maths learning! Next, we chopped and grated. We made chips in our oven from the potatoes we bought. They were so yummy! We wrote the recipe in our books.
On Tuesday, we saw some of our carrots had been tied up! Who has done this?? We read 'Supertato' by Sue Hendra and Paul Linnet and pretended that the Evil Pea from the story had been in our classroom! We looked for clues and found tiny green footprints. We began to plan what we could do to stop him.
On Wednesday, the Evil Pea had trapped some carrots in a box and left us a note! We found more clues and began to make traps to catch him. We made our own 'Supertatoes' to help.
On Thursday, we found the carrots upside down in the sand. Oh no, the Evil Pea is still making mischief! We made more traps and wrote messages back to the Pea. What will happen tomorrow? Will we finally catch the Evil Pea and put an end to this mischief? Da Da Daaaa!
