Shell Class Party
We have had a wonderful week full of festive fun in Reception! The children thoroughly enjoyed our class party, where we played lots of exciting games including musical statues, a chocolate treasure hunt and put the nose on Rudolph. There was plenty of laughter and smiles all round, making it a lovely way to celebrate the end of term together.
In phonics, we finished our learning for the term by visiting the sounds l, ll and ss. The children have worked incredibly hard and should be very proud of all they have achieved. Sound mats have been popped into book bags in case the children would like to show off some of their writing skills over the holidays — but most importantly, they all deserve a well-earned rest!
A huge thank you to you all for your continued support this term; for getting the children to school on time, ensuring book bags and water bottles are in each day, and for practising reading at home. It really does make a big difference.
We hope you all have a lovely break together and enjoy some special family time. We look forward to seeing you all again on Tuesday 6th January. ✨
