It’s Maths Week at Holbeach!
In Nursery, we’ve been exploring the wonderful world of shapes.

We’ve had so much fun creating shape pictures of the iconic Catford Cat, hunting for hidden shapes in the sand, and using different cutters to make playdough masterpieces. Our shape hunt took us all around the classroom and playground, and snack time turned into a maths adventure as we enjoyed circle, triangle, and rectangle-shaped foods. We even nibbled some rectangles into squares and layered triangles to make dazzling stars!

Building has been another highlight. Our castles featured tall towers and spacious car parks, all made from 3D shapes. To top it off, we’ve shared lots of fantastic books about shapes. Here are some of our favourites!
