In Art, we have been exploring the different types of designs and patterns found in our environment. To help us with our learning, we went outside to the playground to observe patterns all around us.

The children carefully looked at a variety of shapes, lines, and repeated designs they could spot outdoors. Each child chose four different patterns to study closely and then drew them in their sketchbooks with great attention to detail.

We enjoyed becoming 'pattern hunters' and discovering that art can be found everywhere around us!
