This afternoon, our class joined a live interactive session with the London Museum to explore the Great Fire of London.

Through videos, storytelling, and fun true-or-false games, pupils discovered how the fire started, why it spread so quickly, and how it changed the lives of Londoners in 1666. They were introduced to the sights and sounds of 17th-century London and followed the dramatic events as the fire took hold and was eventually brought under control.

The highlight of the session was the live Q&A, where our pupils asked their own questions to the museum’s expert curator and heard the answers in real time.

It was an engaging and exciting way to bring history to life — all from the comfort of our classroom!
