For the past few weeks in class, we enjoyed reading the much-loved story The Gruffalo by Julia Donaldson. The children were completely captivated by the clever little mouse and the wonderful rhymes that brought the story to life!

After exploring the characters, setting, and rhythm of the story, the children took on an exciting challenge — to write their own version of The Gruffalo! They used their imaginations to change one character and reimagine the story in creative and unexpected ways.

The children worked incredibly hard to plan, write, and illustrate their stories. Their dedication truly shone through, and we’re so proud to say that they even published their very own class book!

What a fantastic effort from our young authors — their creativity and enthusiasm have made this project one to remember. Well done, everyone!
