Nursery & Reception Sports Day!
Today, our Nursery and Reception children had a fantastic time taking part in our EYFS Sports Day! The sunshine, smiles and cheers from our families made it a truly special morning.
The children travelled around a variety of exciting activity stations, giving every challenge a go with enthusiasm and determination. They enjoyed parachute games, the egg and spoon race, bean bag throwing, singing and dancing, scooter racing, an obstacle course, beat the goalie and the always-popular sack race. There was something for everyone, and it was wonderful to see the children developing their physical skills while having so much fun.
Parents and carers watched from the side, cheering on every child and celebrating their achievements. The encouragement from our families gave the children lots of confidence to keep trying, and it was lovely to see so many smiling faces throughout the morning.
We were incredibly proud of how the children demonstrated our school values by showing perseverance, resilience and excellent sportsmanship. Whether they were racing to the finish line, carefully balancing their egg, or having another go after a tricky obstacle, every child gave their very best and supported one another along the way.
A huge thank you to all of our families for coming along to support the children and to everyone who helped make the event such a success. It was a wonderful celebration of teamwork, physical activity and having fun together. Well done, Nursery and Reception – you were all amazing!
