Microorganisms in 6W

In our recent science experiment on microorganisms, we investigated which area of the school contained the most bacteria. We used cotton swabs to collect samples from different locations, then transferred them onto agar-filled Petri dishes to allow the bacteria to grow. After several weeks, we compared the colonies that formed. Although we gathered some results, we didn’t fully achieve our aim because our sampling wasn’t consistent and some dishes didn’t grow properly. Next time, instead of focusing on finding “the most bacteria,” we would change our aim to investigating how different surfaces or cleaning routines affect bacterial growth, making the experiment more reliable and manageable. Even with the challenges, we learned a lot — and had fun doing it.
