We visited Lesnes Abbey Woods to learn about the Stone Age. We investigated the food that would have been available at the time, and thought about how humans would have made shelters. We then had a go at making our own Stone Age tools from flint, sticks and plant fibres. It was then time to have a go at creating our own shelters in the woods, to see if we could survive in the wild. We thought about the things we would need to heave in our shelters to make them more comfortable.
