Pebble class continues our big countdown to Christmas using paper chains - removing one link each day as we see ourselves creeping closer and closer to Christmas day! We used green paper for school days and red for weekends and holidays. We also use our ten frame countdown and crossing off days on our year calendar showing birthdays, weekends and holidays! The children are getting so good at recognising amounts on the ten frames and knowing one more and one fewer!

We have been playing number track games using dice and are getting really good at knowing the number shown on the dice and jumping that many spaces. They would love to play these at home, too!

In Phonics, we have learnt the sounds b, h, f, ff.

Wooden block building has become a favourite activity in Pebble Class!! We are learning so much through them about maths, problem solving, team work and resilience!

Friday, 19 December is our last day of term. School finishes at 1:30pm!
