Yesterday in Science, we discovered something amazing about light! We learned that the white light we see every day is actually made up of many different colours, called the colours of the spectrum. By shining a beam of light through a prism, light spreads out into a beautiful rainbow of red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet. We also made our own colour wheels and spun them to see the colours merge back into white, helping us understand that all those colours are hiding inside white light. It was exciting to see Science in action!
