6W kicked off our World Book Day celebrations a little earlier than usual with a special visit to Catford Library, where we had the chance to explore the shelves and choose a book to take home. Even though World Book Day is still around the corner, we wanted to build excitement early and give the children plenty of time to dive into new stories.The library was full of curiosity and chatter as pupils browsed different genres, discovered new authors and shared recommendations with one another. Their enthusiasm set a wonderful tone for the reading‑themed activities we’ll be enjoying in the lead‑up to World Book Day.
