Busy Days In Nursery

It’s been a very busy and exciting couple of weeks in Nursery!

Last week, we visited Catford’s Hindu Temple and had a truly wonderful time. The children loved exploring the beautiful sculptures and spotting the many animals carved into them. Do you remember some of the creatures we found? A huge thank you to all our Nursery parents who joined us on the trip, your support made the visit possible. We would also like to extend our thanks to everyone at the temple for being so welcoming and kind.

This week, we have been learning about Eid celebrations. The children enjoyed listening to stories and sharing some delicious treats kindly brought in by our Muslim families.

On Monday, we visited the school library. We had a lovely time choosing books, sharing stories, and listening to a read‑aloud together. Do you remember our new phrase? Choose it, use it, put it away!

This afternoon, Conway will be visiting us in the playground with some of their construction vehicles. We can’t wait to explore them up close!

Next term, we will begin our gardening projects. Please save any 4‑pint milk jugs for us, and we would be grateful for donations of seeds, soil, pots, or other gardening essentials.

A quick reminder that Nursery finishes on Thursday 26th March, and we look forward to welcoming all children back on Monday 13th April.

We wish all our families a wonderful Easter holiday.

Best wishes,
The Nursery Team
